Obligations of third-country nationals

  1. The citizen of a third country, during his stay in Greece, is obliged to declare to the competent services of the Decentralized Administrations of the country or to the Directorate of Immigration Policy of the Ministry of Interior:
     
    a. Every change in the address of his residence.
     
     
    b. Any change in his personal status, in particular the change of citizenship, the conclusion, dissolution or annulment of a marriage or cohabitation agreement or the birth of a child.
     
    c. Loss or renewal or change of passport or other travel document.
     
    d. The loss of the permit or the residence permit or permanent residence.
     
  2. A third-country national holding a residence permit must leave without notice until the last day of its expiration, unless he or she has applied for renewal before it expires and has been granted a certificate under paragraph 7. Article 8 and “paragraph 4 of Article 9.”
     
     
  3. Public documents issued by foreign authorities, as required by the provisions of this must be certified by the epi -Note of the Hague Convention, where it is required. In cases where no notice is required, these documents must be validated by the original signature of the foreign body by the Greek consular authority or the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
